Dignity Matters Inc
Dignity Matters collects, purchases and distributes menstrual care and undergarments to people who are homeless or living in poverty in Massachusetts. As of January 2023, Dignity Matters helps 15,000 women and girls manage their periods with dignity every month.
Dignity Matters Founder and Executive Director Kate Sanetra-Butler moved to the United States from oversees in 2016, and was sightseeing with her young family in Boston's Copley Square when she was approached by a homeless teenager who asked her for a tampon. Kate began collecting donated menstrual care in her garage, and founded Dignity Matters later that year.
