Sugan spent years labouring in rice fields trying to make ends meet. She dropped out of school at 15 to help financially support her family. Her husband has been out of work for years. Everything changed when Sundara hired her as a hygiene ambassador. Sugan is now the breadwinner, can afford to buy medicine for her daughter, and proudly provides her entire tribal village with soap and education.
