Our mission is to provide the support, resources, and opportunities to the students of the Sunburst Youth Academy and the California Jobs ChalleNGe.

The Sunburst Youth Academy accepts 200 students at-risk of dropping out of high school bi-annually from all over Southern California. Within just 5 1/2 months of our residential program, they complete 60 high school credits to get back on track with their high school education or graduate!

The California Jobs ChalleNGe accepts up to 75 students bi-annually from all 3 National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Programs to attend our job certification courses at Long Beach City College. In just 5 months, the students earn certifications to obtain living-wage jobs in the following: Cyber Security, CNA, Construction, Welding and Automotive.
