Youth Summer Sessions

BRPM’s Youth Summer Session is wicked-awesome, week-long programs for girls and gender-expansive youth ages 8 to 17. Youth receive instrument instruction (guitar, bass, drums, vocals, or keyboards), form a band, write an original song, and perform at a sold-out, Boston-area music venue.

Daily workshops also focus on self-awareness, peer relationships, collaboration, and community building. No musical experience is necessary to attend our programs; BRPM provides all instruments and equipment.

Adult Sessions

Adult Sessions are a shortened version of the 5-day program youth participate in the summer. This 3-day-weekend experience is for women, transgender, gender non-conforming, and gender expansive adults, 19 and older, who want an opportunity tap into their child-like energy, build community, and get a deeper understanding of BRPM’s mission and values.

No experience required - instruments and equipment provided. Participants learn to play an instrument, compose an original song, and perform live with their band. Plus, attend workshops on music, confidence-building, and social justice.
