Dial-A-Bus is a non-profit agency that responds to the transportation needs of our community in many different settings and forms. In addition to senior and disabled adults, we serve disadvantaged children and families, provide ADA service for community events, partner with other important service providers like Old Mill Center, The Boys and Girls Club, and all of the surrounding school districts that need help with displaced school children. During the pandemic, the Corvallis homeless coalition, the Benton Food Bank and the Benton County Health Department all requested and received our help, which we were happy to provide.
We will continue to be “The Agency That Says Yes” to the vulnerable and disadvantaged members of our community.
Dial-A-Bus works with the Corvallis School District, The South Corvallis Food Bank, Riverland Farms, and Operation School Bell in order to deliver food, hygiene supplies, and school supplies to families and other folks in need in our community.
Working with the Corvallis School District, Old Mill Center, and the Boys and Girls Club of Corvallis is such a privilege for us and our drivers. We transport children to make sure they get the education and care that they need no matter their circumstances.
During Covid, the local hospital has to make their beds available as soon as a patient is well enough to go. We partnered with them to make sure patients had a ride when discharged.
Not everyone is able to ride public transit to get where they need to go. For those folks in our community, we are here to schedule rides up to one week in advance.
We are always looking for volunteer drivers to help transport our clients in Corvallis, Or.
Provide independence, stability, and community connections for people in need in our community and you might find that you also make a new friend.
