When Chand Bee began to lose her sight at 25, she gradually became unable to work in the fields alongside her husband. Without her income, her children were forced to move into an orphanage. After four years of severe eye pain, Chand Bee received a cornea transplant from a Sightlife partner in Hyderabad, India. With her sight restored, she returned to work and was reunited with her children back home.
