Boston CASA recruits, trains and supervises volunteer advocates for kids in cases of abuse and neglect.
Baby Colleen was removed from her home at 2 months old for neglect. Now at 6 months, her CASA is supporting her single father in his role as a first time Dad and regaining custody of his daughter. The CASA helped him vet daycare options, prepare to introduce solid foods, and engage with his community for long-term success. Colleen is now thriving in her Dad's care with the support of her CASA.
